Special Announcement!
April 2008
Barbara Bowden has joined the Nafa'a Preservation Program. She has bpe Shah Hilala (Hilly) and San Baazinah with her in Oklahoma now and will begin her efforts by sending them to El Norus this fall. Sadly, San Baazinah will not be going to Serenity Taruf as planned because of he untimely and tragic death in June. Barbara and I feel it is best to put Baaz into production and will send her with Hilly.
Barbara worked for Hansi Heck-Melnyk when Hansi had Serenity Arabians and quarantine in Canada. Barbara was fortunate to be there and witness Serenity Kamila being born. The filly soon became Barbara's favorite and it was while she was searching for Kamila's progeny that she found Blue Pyramid. We corresponded for quite awhile and over those months, Barbara made the decision to refocus her efforts on the preservation of these great horses.
It was a blessing for me that Barbara found Blue Pyramid. She is a great lady and will ensure the success of our goals to strengthen the Nafa'a blood and carry on the standards we have both learned from a great breeder, Hansi Heck-Melnyk.
