Nafa’a to Serenity Bint Nadia,
imported to North America by Hansi Heck-Melnyk, to Cedardell Tiffany and
Serenity Kamila; two sides of the Kuhaylan ns strain of straight Egyptian
Arabian horses. My personal commitment is to the preservation of the last of these
very good representatives of a very rare bloodline. All of these mares are Asil, straight
Egyptian, and Al Khamsa.
Blue Pyramid bloodstock contains a strong complement of both conformation and
performance genes; both equally important.
Unless stated otherwise, the pictures were taken by me and I let my horses just be
horses so they are often dirty and hairy, but they are also very happy.

Le Kameesha Amira
(Amir Ibn Sakr x IES Kameesha)
#0397791 03/02/86 Kuhaylan n.s.
Kammy represents the Serenity Kamila line
with the added bonus of Amir Ibn Sakr top. Beautiful in spirit as well
as face, she came to Blue
Pyramid to retire, but has given us one more baby for the preservation
band. Kammy is a terrific mom and Bint Kameesha Amira is a great
gift. |

San Aakefaa
(Basheke x Bint Kameesha)
#0427105 05/15/88
Kuhaylan n.s.
San Aakefaa is by Basheke out of Bint Kameesha. When we met,
we breathed each other in and I knew her at once when I looked in her eyes. The gentlest soul and
classic conformation. Aakeefa is another Serenity Kamila daughter but
she
has no offspring -- yet. I am still hopeful that Aakefaa can produce another
with her special spirit. |

San Baazinah
(El Halimaar x Bint Kameesha)
#0466489

Kuhaylan n.s. San
Baazinah's sire is El Halimaar.
She is now with Barbara Bowden who is joining the Nafa'a preservation
efforts.

San Emira
Farazdac
(Emir Ibn Farazdac x San Baazinah)
#600319 07/07/02 Kuhaylan n.s.
Emira died in April 2008 from unknown causes. No pathogens were present
but internal bleeding eventually led to her death. Emira traced to Nafa'a through Serenity Kamila and was Himself's
first SE daughter. Her movement was pure poetry. She lost her first
foal and then we lost her.

Dahloura
(Makour x
Dahleeah) #474314
05/25/90
Kuhaylan n.s.
Dahloura was bred to run, but while en route to Florida for training,
a trailer accident ended her race career before it started.
Her shoulder was injured in the accident but she recovered sound and sold
to a gentleman in Georgia where she eventually met Shahdal. She
produced two exquisite colts and the filly Shahloura by Shahdal. It
was the discovery of Shaloura that led me to Dahloura and the foundation of the Cedardell Tiffany side of my program.

Shahloura
(Shahdal x Dahloura) #0551451 02/28/97
Kuhaylan n.s.
I first saw Shahloura on the end of a video tape of Shahdal sent to me by Bob
Lloyd. There was something about her that haunted me until I was finally
able to buy her and bring her to Utah.
She was purchased before I knew about Nafa'a and she was the reason I
started my research. |

bpe Shah Hilala
(Ibn El Hilal x
Shahloura) #834824 06/11/03
Kuhaylan n.s.
Now with Barbara Bowden, Hilly will be bred to a Cedardell Tiffany stallion to double
the CT tale female line. She is halter-pretty but her strength is going to
be in performance. Her mind is quick and her spirit is joyful and free.
She is going to make an outstanding dressage or sport horse.

Marisa
(Ra’adin Inshalla x
Samheeta) #0504831
02/08/94) Saqlawi Jedraniyah Sudan
Marisa was the result of a breeding I requested so that I could get an
Ansata Ibn Halima mare through her sire Ra'adin Inshalla. She has an
exceptional way of going. Marisa is special and my first straight
Egyptian. She taught me how an Arabian should move,
and she does!
